Yes, that’s true even though the pandemic takes away much of our hoardings from us, but still, there is something we are left with and that is hope — a silver lining that glowed up with our self-reflection. Besides, today everyone’s returns to their normal lives in the era of “new normal” but the imperative question here to ponder is — “what’s that new is this normal?”

The initial days of the pandemic were challenging enough to breathe down our neck, harsh enough for us to give up, and grueling enough to get us into a complete state of binge, but as we passed through its lumps and bumps, we realize that there is a positive side of it which we can harbor at its best to get the most out of it.

As of 2nd February 2021, there is 103,931,497 coronavirus cases, 2,247,715 deaths, 75,730,244 recovered, we all are lucky enough that we are still alive and breathing with all of our impulses, though the impact of this deadly virus can be countless and unpredicted since COVID-19 is the first-ever occurred disease in the world that is fatal than any other disease so far.

But COVID-19 is more of a blessing in disguise because by now we have learned and gained enough with its ebbs and flows since it accelerates our spiritual being by throwing much light on who we are and why we are!

Let’s look at some most severe impacts of COVID-19 but with a silver lining on it -

The fear of COVID-19 and its uncertainty in businesses embroiled almost every industry from personal-care to footwear, there is no doubt that myriad enterprises have gone through their deepest wounds and gave each of their arms and limbs to be on the ground at the peak times of COVID-19.

But now as the situation tucked up, thought leaders have realized that the level of exposure and flexibility they’ve by now is something that they could never be able to have with them if COVID-19 hasn’t emerged.

Since we all are well clued up with the notion that innovations are led by problems and their crises, post COVID-19 we have seen the influx of innovations in our technologies right from connectivity up to productivity.

We have seen transformations like remote workforce systems led by massive cloud technology inception, seamless collaboration, and connectivity with our colleagues and families while being physically siloed off, we have spotted the uncovered and impossible thing and give it leeway to all major possibilities, reframe firm’s operations and administrative task in no time!

The silver lining here is that COVID-19 provided us enough room to discover our ability to reshape the way we do business; it teaches us to be prepared and remain flexible for any future stipulation and downfall. Today we have technologies like remote access, tracking software, VPNs, and VPIs for top-notch security purpose, software like slack, zoom, google meet, google hangouts for better collaboration in such a way that today even if we wish to move on to the offices for once again, we can’t get ourselves enough from all these hi-tech cybernetics because now we all are well confined with such kind of systems leaving no space for any diversion further.

Since COVID-19 has shifted around 1.2 billion students from classrooms to their homes, although COVID-19 rapt up almost every sector and at the time when enterprises like supply chain, manufacturing, retail, automobiles are almost dozed off because of the pandemic, education has been one of the few sectors that stood alive and even surged from their previous levels.

Nobody would have ever thought that we can even have the facility to sit back at our homes and can able to learn the same way we were supposed to learn in our schools and colleagues and even can give exams around an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled invigilator that can recognize students foul practices during exams from the comfort of their homes.

Though initially for students it was quite weird to bring their school life at their beds and bean bags, later, it tells more of a student about how much he/she is capable and tech-savvy in managing the same from their homes and that’s what the silver lining reflects about COVID-19; it depicts the capability of an individual to stay on its ground and to remain resilient by enlightening more bask over the sun beside the cloud.

There is no denying about the fact that due to COVID-19 around 80 plus millions of people have lost their jobs, some also led themselves into severe conditions like depression, anxiety, mental health problems, obesity which further scandalize them into a complete rumored suicidal attempt.

Those times were full of chops and changes with no cold edge, but since we all know that only hard times are liable for the savour ones!

Recently, Elon Musk — the founder of SpaceX and CEO of Tesla twitted on Twitter that “the one who is willing to reskill and learn by going the extra mile can only survive in this pandemic”, many folks even followed and get inspired with the notion of “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” in the spirit of the prime minister of making India an independent and determined nation.

And that’s all sorted and true because the pandemic urges us to sprung up the change, to bring the change in who we are, what we do, why we do, and how much we do.

There has been a sheer demand in jobs for soft skills because of virtual interviews and an increase in skill-based hiring, employers are looking for someone who has the knack of perpetual learning and one who is focusing more on upskilling him/herself rather than moping in its crucial time.

Besides the fact that COVID-19 has drawn over half of the population back to poverty with our policymakers trying their best to fossil such a relief that can able to stretch a helping hand for every COVID-19 victim out there!

Apart from these frightening convictions, there have been major benefits post COVID-19 for the country economy such as-

  • Because of the sheer price drop in crude oil, it saves a huge chunk of money for the Indian economy from its imports.
  • Post COVID-19 definitely fuelling the economy in a way we do business globally, with prominent companies based in the UK, US, Europe are all shifting their offices away from china and its border countries to countries like India, Indonesia, and Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc.
  • With the current budget allocation by finance ministers to battle the COVID-19 crises and to attract more FDI, many foreign companies are looking forward in order to have a share of it by investing more in India.

The turmoil of COVID-19 has a watershed impact on the environment because of a temporary hold on major economic activities like traveling, commuting, transporting, and industrial activities, there has been an unexpected improvement in air quality along with reduced air pollution and noise pollution, improved water quality — because of less resource consumption and waste disposal as well as upgraded tourism.

With this article, it is hence proved that it is necessary to come across the darkest side until we relish ourselves into the dawn!

COVID-19 unleashed the spiritual power of an individual by pouring a sense of self-reflection in it and taught us to remain resilient and flexible to any ramifications of life, as we all know that life is full of tramps and lurches, it is full of challenges and opportunities that you can either catch or lose but can’t let it be in the air.

With COVID-19 people learned that the essence of life is in its well-being and happiness and not only in money-grubbing stuff, it tells us that nothing is more important than being alive which is also well portrayed by our honored prime minister- Narendra Modi that “Jaan Hai Toh Jahan Hai”.
